Panda, did I tell you I can buy a KILO (~2.2 lbs) of strawberries or two pints of raspberries at the market here for about $1.50 USD! It's amazing. I am in berry heaven. I also like to think Chilean berries are grown with less pesticide than US berries, but I have no facts to back it up. I just feel better when I tell myself that!
ReplyDeleteThe blueberries we've been eating are definitely from Chile as well! So sad, all that oil burned just so I can eat a blueberry in March. I'm glad you're enjoying the local berries friend!
