Fast

This week the Brethren in Christ Church celebrates denominational week of fasting and prayer. I'm excited for the opportunity to give up a few things in order to purposely make additional time for God. Therefore, I'm releasing myself from the addiction of checking my facebook, email, and random food blogs multiple times a day. It won't be hard, I'm unpluging my computer and won't even turn it on. It shall also help that I will be starting my new job on Tuesday in the bake lab! Exciting moments and I'm expecting great things from the added time in prayer and conversation with God.
