Vermont Eats

In addition to the time spent in Michigan, I traveled to Vermont for another vacation getaway this month. I traveled with some great friends and mentors, Dave & Wendi, to the beautiful New England. This trip was the yearly VT trip that they get in to visit friends and enjoy the heat relief of the Northeast states. This time, my lovely friend, Kelsey, lives in VT so she was able to join our vacation fun. We took in a flatbread class at King Arthur Flour that was superb and added to our eating fun. We literally ate our way across the states while we were up there. Our food highlights included many scoops of ice cream and many slices of flatbread pizza. Livin' the dream baby!

Starting the trip in Lawrence, KS with dinner at 715

The Red Arrow Diner in Manchester, NH.
Amazing bison burger with sweet potato fries!

Famous P&H truck stop.
The best cinnamon raisin bread french toast in the world!

Ice cream take 1

Fabulous Kelsey's special pancakes!
Whole grain with peanut butter and granola on top!

Just the beginning of super simple and FABULOUS flatbread.

Wood fired greatness!
Lunch to die for. Definitely the highlight meal!

Just a beautiful bowl of oats with peanut butter and granola.

I'll detail few more items from the trip later!

  1. Panda, this all looks delicious! I'm definitely envious of you from my culinary wasteland of Santiago, Chile. "Typical" Chilean food is AWFUL. What I'd do for a wood-fired pizza...YUM.
